Health & Wellness

By now many of you have either read my book, The Whole Soul, or read several of my blog posts concerning our thinking process and how we respond to situations, and life in general. As you can see this is an extremely passionate topic for me as I believe we can and should experience a happy lifestyle simply based on our dreams, not on our circumstances, by making sure we are healed, mind, body, and soul. Many people ask me: “what exactly do you mean when you say “mind, body, and soul.” I believe, as many medical and mental health professionals, and scientists and quantum physicists do as well, that our mind/bodies are intertwined and when one area is affected (i.e., the mind) the entire flow of our bodies, especially our soul become affected and/or infected in many cases.

To be whole in one area doesn’t complete the picture of total wellness. One can “feel” extremely healthy in their physical body, yet be totally unhealed in their mental or emotional state. But rest assured although you may “feel” well in your body, your mental and emotional state play a major role in your overall physical wellbeing. Unfortunately often times the body can be sick but doesn’t manifest sickness for years down the road. On the other hand if the body is experiencing physical illness or even undergo a traumatic experience, this can change our entire mental and emotional makeup, causing such things as depression, oppression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, and other ailments in our mental state.

This is why I think it incumbent upon ourselves to make sure we are well throughout our entire body system. For those of you under the age of 30, if you would become serious about what goes into your body/mind at your age you will not have to encounter the same sicknesses and diseases that us “baby-boomers” have encountered, simply because we didn’t take life seriously enough when we were your age to preserve it well. For those of you over the age of 30, baby-boomers, and beyond, there is still time to take charge of your body/mind. Our bodies are so intricately intertwined if you take a look at the entire vertebral system you will see all the connections starting from the very top of our head, leading down through our brain stem, through the vertebral column and every aspect of our bodies. I won’t bore you with medical and scientific details but just to broaden your knowledge base a bit, if you studied the limbic system of the brain you would see, based on Wikipedia’s description: “The limbic system supports a variety of functions including epinephrine flow, emotion, behavior, motivation, long-term memory, and olfaction. Emotional life is largely housed in the limbic system, and it has a great deal to do with the formation of memories.” (en.wikipedia.org).

Upon further study you would find that “two large limbic system structures that play a role in our memory are the amygdala and hippocampus. The amygdala is responsible for determining what memories are stored and where the memories are stored in the brain. The hippocampus sends memories out to the appropriate part of the cerebral hemisphere for long-term storage and retrieves them when necessary.” Source: www.biology.about.com. Other Source:

Because the limbic system is located on top of the brainstem, one can, by deductive reasoning determine for themselves that long-term toxic memories could have a very serious effect on the entire body’s system considering the alignment. Vice-versa, this is true about every other functioning organ, cell, and/or muscle within the body. If a person puts the wrong energy into the body over a long period including foods and long-term use of synthetic medications for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and other serious autoimmune symptoms, or encompass years of stress and anxiety, you will eventually experience the same or similar negative effects running throughout the blood and body system that the brain/mind experiences.

However, we as caretakers of our body/mind have the ability to heal ourselves with the proper care and nutrition based upon what we feed into our body/mind. I have been using natural holistic supplements for over 35 years, and recently discovered a miracle tree called Moringa that is taking the world by storm with its extremely positive results in helping to bring the body into alignment with nature’s original plan. Mind you, I’m making no medical claims simply sharing the wonderful results I, and others are experiencing from this phenomenal product. I am experiencing much more energy, clarity of mind, reduced appetite, and an overall feeling of genuine wellbeing, mind, body, and soul. In addition to the many health benefits found in Moringa, the essential oils have also been found to yield positive results on the body’s mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
